Unlike our previous dogs, this one didn\u2019t shed it\u2019s coat and before long it needed a tidy-up. Never one to turn down a challenge, I put it in the bath, hair-dryer\u2019d it and clipped off those puppy curls with kitchen scissors. As the years went by my technique (and equipment) improved and I began to practice on a couple of friends\u2019 dogs. Finally I knew it was time to get formal training and so I enrolled for City and Guilds Dog Grooming, completing level 2 and then level 3.
